Truth or Dare + Spin the Bottle: Play These Classic Party Games Right on Your Android Phone

Classic party games like Spin the Bottle and Truth or Dare, immensely popular in the '80s and '90s, seem to have been long forgotten and abandoned by today's youth. Today, new forms of party games are all the rage, a prime example being Cards Against Humanity. Yes, CAH is hilarious and fun, but the classics can still be appreciated, as long as we catch them up to the times.

To make Spin the Bottle and Truth or Dare more contemporary, developer Hyperspace Yard has brought these older games into the 21st century by making our mobile device a big part of the fun.

With a group of friends circled around your smartphone, use Dare Wheel to spin your device and see where the fun leads.

Dare Wheel is free and comes with two games: Dare Wheel (aka Spin the Bottle) and Truth or Dare. Both games rely on your device's proximity sensors to register spins and cycle through the wheel.

The Racy "Dare Wheel"

The signature game, Dare Wheel, is a more adult version of Spin the Bottle. One side of the screen will have a finger pointing forward, helping clarify who the victim is. The other half of the screen is a wheel cycling through various possibilities, like Kiss, Hug, Lick, and other surprises you'll want to discover with friends.

The Classic Truth or Dare

Like the Dare Wheel game, you have a finger pointer and a wheel with the Dare, Truth, Pass, and Truth or Dare (you decide). This game is a little more innocent, but that doesn't mean it's not fun, with dares like "Dip your hands in the toilet"—gross for the victim, hilarious for everyone else.

This free game is fun and interactive, though I would really appreciate some options, like creating my own truths and dares. This is the first version, so the future can be promising for this game.

The next big software update for iPhone is coming sometime in April and will include a Food section in Apple News+, an easy-to-miss new Ambient Music app, Priority Notifications thanks to Apple Intelligence, and updates to apps like Mail, Photos, Podcasts, and Safari. See what else is coming to your iPhone with the iOS 18.4 update.
