When we take pictures with our smartphones, it's safe to assume we're taking more than one. We're either trying to capture the right light, look, or expression… or maybe a slight nod to the right to show off your good side.
Whatever the case may be, taking many pictures is an easy task, but selecting which picture is the best can prove to be difficult. As you swipe back and forth trying to decide which one you want to keep, you might forget about what you liked about one and end up choosing one that is subpar.
With today's softModder guide, I'm going to show you how to easily choose the best picture out of a set on the Galaxy Note 3.
Find the Perfect Picture
Finding the best picture is super easy with Pic Perfect from Sufficiently Advanced Apps. The app will show you two photos side-by-side, allowing you to pick one and continue scrolling through the rest until you find the picture you like the most, having your "perfect" picture remain in view while you browse for a better alternative.
Getting Started
Starting up the application, you'll have a couple of choices on how you'll get to choose the pictures:
Quick:choose from a small sequence of pictures (ex. burst photos)
Complete:choose from a set of unrelated photographs (ex. choosing the best vacation pictures).
I took a dozen or so photos of fellow WonderHowTo writer Neil and selected all of them to choose which picture was best. The application then pairs up two random pictures and asks you which one you prefer. Select it and that picture then moves on to the next round of pictures, going up against the rest of the litter.
Once the round ends, you'll end up with the one picture that you liked the most. From there, you'll have the option to skip, move or copy the picture to another part of the phone, or delete it entirely. If you choose to move or copy the picture, you'll be able to place it in any of the photo albums you have.
That's all there is to it. A simple application to solve a simple but vast problem; facilitating the process of selecting the perfect picture very, and doing it quickly.
